The 12L beta OTA file is available for download from Google’s hosting site for full OTA image. On every Pixel and Nexus device, that site has OTA downloads for various updates. So first make sure you download the file that corresponds to your device. Scroll down to locate OTA downloads.

Enter Recovery mode

After that, you’ll enter Recovery mode on your Pixel. To do so, turn off your phone completely. Then, long press the Power and Volume down buttons simultaneously until you reach the LOADLIN page. When you see an Android figure lying down on the screen, you’ll know you’re in the right place. Scroll down to Recovery mode with your volume buttons. Click the power button to select this. You can also use the reboot recovery command if you’re already connected to a computer via ADB. To fully enter Recovery mode, hold down the Power and Volume up buttons for about one second. When you will release the sound up button  it will take you to the Recovery mode.

Go to ADB sidelobe

Scroll down to Apply update from ADB and select it with the power button using the volume buttons. This will bring up a mostly blank screen with text near the bottom instructing you on how to sidelobe an OTA, for example this one for the Android 12L Beta program.

Attach the handset to a computer equipped with ADB tools.

This is a critical step because it is the only way to shift the downloaded OTA file to your control center. You’ll need to keep Fastboot and ADB tools nearby. ADB tools are available for download from the Android Devisor’s website. The other source is ClockWorkMod’s extensive ADB Drivers. It will make the process more convenient on Windows devices.

You can now sideload the OTA file since everything is is up to the mark. On Windows, open a Command Prompt and navigate to the folder of ADB tools.  then type adb sideload. In case you’re using macOS or Linux, follow the same process in Terminal (use “cd” and “ls” commands to ensure your Terminal is directed at the correct folder, check on Google if you’re stuck), but instead type in./adb sideload. To begin the process, enter the file name that is .zip folder you downloaded from Google then press enter. If all is well, you should check out some dialogue on your system and handset displaying the process of installation and sideload.
