The anti-laser charging device generates energy beams across the room directly to your devices. A scientific study recently published in the Nature Communications journal has reportedly revealed that it can beam power with 99.996% efficiency to devices no matter how crowded a room is. GIANT GUNDAM ROBOT NOW STANDS 59 FT TALL IN JAPAN The fact that it can work effectively irrespective of the people in the room is particularly significant. Presence of people in the room has so far been the major obstacle for existing devices. In an ordinary room, presence of people and various objects (especially other electronics) get in the way and hinder the energy from moving around. Thus, operating such devices in a real world environment is much more difficult and complicated as compared to an isolated lab with walls that reflect energy. However, this time round, in the latest ‘anti-laser’ charging device, scientists have used a method known as the CPA or the coherent perfect absorption.

What is Coherent Perfect Absorption?

The phenomenon of coherent perfect absorption involves having one machine send power across the room while another suck it back up. In this particular case, the anti-laser charging device is the one that sucks back the power. The aforementioned study noted, “Coherent perfect absorption has been appealing to physicists and engineers for both its fundamental and technological relevance.” It explained that at a technological level, CPA’s implementation promises the realization of a family of wave-based devices performing highly-selective and tuneable absorption in a manner that goes beyond the traditional concept of impedance matching. For the uninitiated, time reversal symmetry refers to situations where time could flow as easily backward as forward. Moreover, TR symmetry was initially required to exist for the anti-laser to work. But, it is difficult to recreate in the real world. So, in this experiment, scientists have jostled the photons so aggressively that time reversal symmetry was lost and the anti-laser still worked. The study thus implies that this experiment “proves that the concept of CPA goes far beyond its initial conception as a ‘time-reversed laser.’” It means that this almost sci-fi like anti-laser charging device may very well work in the real world too some day.
