China Telecom has claimed that the new Apple smartphone will be equipped with a multitude of radios and is scheduled to be compatible with wireless networks including TDD-LTE, FDD-LTE, WCDMA, CDMA2000, GSM and CDMA1X. China Telecom has also posted that it will market an unlocked iPhone 6 that will be compatible with multiple Chinese carriers. Apple is likely to release its flagship smartphone in two variants – a 4.7-inch and a 5.5 inch version. The exact details would be announced by Apple on September 9. The upcoming smartphone is likely to be equipped with Apple’s next OS version, iOS 8, and it would be more scratch resistant as compared to the screens of the current iPhones. The smartphone is also expected to sport several other features, including 64-bit mobile processor, a clock speed of 2.6GHz and improved RAM. Additionally, it would have an advanced version of the camera along with optical image stabilization. It was recently reported that the smartphone would be equipped with the sapphire display panel. YouTuber Marques Brownlee posted the video who initially carried out the test with a knife and keys to the display with no negative impact.
