This will be a nine-week virtual program that will include fireside chats among Google leaders and collaborators. These leaders and collaborators will be across the startup ecosystem. At the launch of the startup school, Director of Play Partnership Aditya Swamy said that around 90% of startups fail within the first five years of their expedition. And most of the time it’s due to the same reasons like flawed demand assessment, unmanaged cash burn, lack of leadership, and ineffective feedback loops.
India is the third-largest startup hub in the world
As of now, India is the third largest startup hub all over the world, with around 70,000 startups. And these startups are not only restricted to Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, or Mumbai. There are multiple numbers of startups headquartered in Indore, Gorakhpur, Jaipur, and more, which account for about 50% of all recognized startups in India today, he added.
Google Startup School’s curriculum

What is the need for a startup school?
As mentioned above, the majority of the startups fail in India. So, to make Indian startups a big success, this startup school will be beneficial. Even Google says that there is a need for programs that can organize all the knowledge into a structured curriculum that could then be delivered across a wide footprint. And this startup school will help to achieve all the goals.
