What is New about GroupWatch by Disney Plus?

Screenshots of the latest Disney Plus feature first appeared on the Disney+ subreddit. Disney confirmed to The Verge  that it is currently testing the GroupWatch feature which is only available to certain Canadian subscribers, however, currently there are several other third-party options through which people can host or join watch parties, but it’s good to see streaming platforms making it easier for folks to do so. The Disney+ offering is far more limited in scope than ones on other services. Also, Prime Video allows users to invite up to 100 of your nearest and dearest friends to join a watch party. Twitch streamers, on the other hand, can easily host a GroupWatch party of tens of thousands of people watching something with them in their chat. Binged watched these?
