One of them is known as an u30 error. Today, we will discuss what is the u30 error and how to solve the u30 error in Google Pay.

What is a u30 error in Google Pay?

This is an error which comes when Google Pay has trouble in reaching the partner server. Since you only need a person’s UPI ID or phone number to make a transaction, a u30 error could cause delay in funds transfer. This may also cause problems in viewing the balance or other info in the app.

How to solve u30 error in Google Pay?

We know how frustrating it can be. But do not sweat. Try these simple tips and try again.

Go back to the Home screen and try to make the transaction again.

The error could also be due to a problem in the bank server, so you can wait for it to resolve itself.

You could try to uninstall the app. Then wait for sometime before reinstalling it. This will not affect your data within the app. You will have to login using your previous credentials only. One important point to remember is that you don’t change your UPI ID while reinstalling the app. Use the same Gmail account that was linked before with your Google Pay account. You will be asked to set a 4 digit pin to secure your app. This pin is for securing access to your Google Pay and this is different from your UPI pin/ID. After reinstallation, you will be able to restore the bank accounts which were linked to your Google Pay app. You do not need to enter the details again.

If you encounter a u30 error, a few simple steps will get your Google Pay up and running again. But , if the error still persists, it could be due to one of the following reasons:-

You have entered incorrect UPI PIN many times.

You have exceeded the transaction limit for the day.

You have insufficient funds in your account.

If you haven’t used your bank account in a long time, it could be inactive.

If you have tried everything, and nothing still seems to work, you should contact your bank branch.  Conclusion:- Google Pay is one of the safest UPI payments app. But, there could be errors while using it. The simple tricks mentioned above can help you make transactions smoothly.
