Design philosophy behind PS5 VR Controller
The DualSense technology in the PS5 VR controller will enable users to user make more natural gestures with their hands during gameplay. These controllers can also be tracked via the PS VR headset using a tracking ring across the bottom of the controller. The best part is that there are are no restrictions on how users move their hands, thus creating a unique gameplay experience.

Taking design to another level, Sony has arranged out the buttons and analog sticks in an interesting way. The left controller features an analogue stick, the triangle and square buttons, a “grip” button (L1), trigger button (L2), and Create button. The Right controller comes with the second analogue stick, the cross and circle buttons, a “grip” button (R1), trigger button (R2), and Options button. In short, both left and right controllers have adaptive triggers which create pressure when the buttons are pressed. The new PS5 controller also sports haptic feedback optimised for its form.
