Notably, it will also mark the company’s first completely virtual September event. Moreover, it is also predicted to be quite different from what we are used to seeing every year. A prediction that has been nothing but heart-breaking for many expecting fans, we may not get to see a new iPhone at the Apple September 15 event tomorrow. But, there is still a good deal of expected Apple Gadgets and software upgrades that you won’t like to miss.
Major Hardware and Software Expected At the Apple September Event
Apple Watch 6
After the iPhone 12 launch which seems to be delayed, Apple Watch Series 6 is one hardware announcement that all of us are looking forward to. Since, it was long rumoured to have a September launch, we are guessing it is the upcoming Apple September Event itself. While we are not expecting a complete 360° change from the predecessor, there are a couple of expected upgrades which seem interesting. Besides little tweaks in the design, it is also speculated to come with a bigger battery, an SpO2 sensor to monitor oxygen levels in the blood as well as a software upgrade from its predecessor. While this does seem a bit too ambitious, some are also hinting towards a Touch ID fingerprint scanner as well as a temperature sensor. Additionally, others have also claimed that Apple is set to divide its upcoming smart watch series across two price segments at the Apple September Event. Thus, we may also get to see a more affordable Apple Watch featuring an Apple Watch 4 like design. However, in a major pay-off the budget smart watch may not include certain features of the series like Always-On display or the ECG.
Apple iPad Air 4
Another notable product launch at Apple September 15 event that we are looking forward to isthe Apple iPad Air 4. We are expecting the iPad Air 4 to be compact and lightweight as it is going to be a part of the iPad Air series. It is also expected to come with a TouchID and an all-display design like the Pro iPads.
iPad 8
We are also hoping for the launch of a new iPad 8 which may actually be announced at a more pocket-friendly price. However, it is hard to make any definite guesses on this one as the rumours and leaks themselves seemed quite confusing when it comes to details on the iPad 8.
OS Upgrades: iOS 14, watchOS 7, iPadOS 14
We are also hoping for the launch of a new iPad 8 which may actually be announced at a more pocket-friendly price. However, it is hard to make any definite guesses on this one as the rumours and leaks themselves seemed quite confusing when it comes to details on the iPad 8. Apart from the above hardware, Apple is also expected to reveal its latest operating systems at the upcoming Apple September Event. iPhone 6S and above iPhone models will be eligible to receive the new iOS 14 upgrade. We have heard several rumours about the new iOS 14 and expected features but Apple is expected to announce the confirmed release date on Tuesday. We are also hoping to hear from Apple about its other two upcoming OS versions, iPadOS 14 and watchOS 7 for iPads and Apple Watch respectively.
